Dear Viewers: This week marks the
beginning of spring, and spring marks the
beginning of many things, and beginnings are
always an interesting time. Some of us
fear new beginnings while others relish them.
In fact, spring fever is a term used to describe
various feelings we have at this time of the
year. For some it is increased energy and
vitality, for others just the opposite. It
is also a time associated with love, a love of
the new blooms, the warming temperatures, and a
love amongst people.
This week, for Los Angeles viewers, and
soon to be seen in all my markets, Psychologist
Dennis Palumbo, a past guest on the
program, discusses his newest novel Fever
Dreams. Although it has nothing to
do in particular with spring fever,
he offers two psychological examples of why we
feel different as individuals while sharing
similar experiences, and how in the end it is
LOVE that brings it all together.
These words from Fever Dreams
capture the spirit of both. Why we
struggle and the importance of love.
Ordinary people struggling to
make sense of their experience and trying,
somehow, someway, to move on…
Without love, the true joy of
creation - is rarely felt.
Some may rejoice in the coming of
spring and others may struggle. It is all
in an effort to somehow, someway move on.
In either case, add a dash of LOVE and
you will experience the true joy not only of
spring, but of all creation. Have a great
week, Barry
