• PBS is the most trusted source of news and public affairs programming among the television networks – over CNN, Fox, NPR, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, and CBS.

• A majority of the public feels that government support for PBS is too little while a majority of the public believes funding given to PBS is worthwhile.

• PBS garners much higher ratings of satisfaction than commercial television or cable television.
